Hi, I’m Holly and I’m in my third year studying Drama, Theatre and Performance at Lancaster University. I would like to share some photos from my three years of studying here at Lancaster and what the experience has been like for me.
Studying at Lancaster has allowed me to study something I am passionate about: theatre and performance. I can always be found working hard, whether that be preparing for my next essay or rehearsing for my next practical assessment.
Lancaster to me is a home away from home. I love how the campus has everything I need. In my campus accommodation I made my room feels cosy and comfortable. I won’t want to leave!
When I am having a break from my studies, I love to get dressed up. Here is me getting ready for a meal at Christmas time. I’m always ready to explore what great food Lancaster has to offer.
I love spending time with my friends. Me and my classmates always celebrate our hard work together. It allows us to reflect on how far we have come during our studies.
You can’t walk too far on campus without seeing some ducks. They are especially cute when the baby ducklings hatch and it’s a great sight that makes my day.
There is lots to see and do in Lancaster including events on campus. This photograph was from the bonfire night celebration. Here I got to watch the fireworks light up the Lancaster campus.
The facilities at Lancaster have everything I need to help me study. I love it when I get the opportunity to perform in Nuffield Theatre. This is how my group adapted the theatre for one of our performances.
I love going on walks with my flatmates. Especially in springtime when the flowers start to blossom around campus. It’s a great way to relax and have a moment away my studies.
