Your graduation day will be a celebration of all the hard work you've put in over the last few years and formalises your passing from student to graduate - and of course you'll become one of our alumni.
The Graduation web pages have general advice and guidance about the day. Take a look to find out all you need to do in advance about what you can expect on the day, including booking tickets and hiring gowns.
Information regarding College Celebrations for the 2024 graduating cohorts will be email to those eligible to graduate towards the start of the Summer term. If you have not received any information about the College celebrations, please get in touch with your College Manager, Jo.

I have great pleasure in inviting you to attend the Furness College graduation celebrations. The College celebrations have always been one of the best occasions of the University year and we hope very much that you, your parents, family, friends and partners will be able to attend. Graduation Day is a very special occasion and the College events enable you both to celebrate with your family and friends and to meet up with fellow Furnessians. Book your tickets through the online store for the celebratory afternoon tea; this is an extremely popular event. Tickets sell out fast and are available on a first-come-first-served basis, and unfortunately can't be bought on the day. I do hope that you will be able to join me and the other College officers in celebrating this great day.

Celebrate with us
Why not join us in Furness after your ceremony? There will be live music in the quad, while Trevor will be serving drinks and you can collect a complimentary glass of fizz if you have booked onto our College celebrations.
Our celebratory afternoon tea will be served in the Foyer but you'll need to book that in advance. Tickets for Furness students accompanying their guests are now available to purchase through the Online Store. Please be advised, that as we have to order catering in advance we are unable to sell tickets on the day itself.
Furness Graduates (2024 cohort) are invited to attend a celebratory Afternoon Tea on Friday 19 July 2024 in Furness College. This is a ticketed event and numbers are restricted. There are two buffet sittings which have been timed around each graduation ceremony and the main College photograph. Before finalising your booking, please make sure you book onto the correct celebration to coincide with your ceremony. There will be plenty of opportunities to have your photographs taken with friends and you can relax with family and friends within the College. Food will be served, the bar will be open and there will be live music playing during the celebrations.

A celebratory glass of fizz
A round of sandwiches to include:
Ham and mustard
Egg and cress
Chicken mayonnaise in a wrap
Tuna mayonnaise in a wrap
Vegan sausage rolls
Roast vegetable kebab
Desserts
Mini eclair
Mini ring doughnut
Mini carrot cake
Accompanied by tea, coffee, orange juice and water
Graduates will receive a gift from the College.
A professional photographer will be taking photographs throughout the afternoon.
Tickets can be collected from the College Office (A13, Furness) from 10 June until the end of the summer term, or on the morning of your graduation from Furness College.
No refunds can be offered after 9am on 1 July 2024
