Funding your postgraduate study

In order to study at postgraduate level you'll need funding to cover your tuition fees and living costs. The University and external bodies can provide assistance, as can the Faculty of Health and Medicine.

To help with study and living costs, Lancaster University offers postgraduates a range of scholarship, studentships and bursaries.

Student and Education Services also maintain a directory of external funding sources available to postgraduate students.

Postgraduate loans

If you're starting a master's degree, you could get a Postgraduate Master's Loan of up to £11,222 to help with course fees and living costs.

If you're starting a doctoral degree, you could get a Postgraduate Doctoral Loan of up to £26,445 to help with course fees and living costs.
