Researchers from Lancaster and NOVA University Lisbon presented their joint research at a recent workshop in Vienna.

Lancaster's Professor Patrick Rebuschat, PhD student Yuxin (Cindy) Ge as well as NOVA University's Professor Susana Correia and PhD students Ronan Pereira and Yolanda Xavier traveled to Vienna to participate at the 2nd edition of the Vienna Portuguese Linguistics Workshop.

The event took place on November 16-17, 2023, at the University of Vienna. This year, the workshop focuses on the acquisition of Portuguese and its varieties in different settings. Further information on the event can be found here.

The Vienna workshop was an opportunity to discuss our recent research, including our collaborative work on the ProPerL2 project.

Participation of the Lancaster delegation was made possible by the financial support of Lancaster University’s Camões Institute Chair (Cátedra) for Multilingualism and Diversity. To learn more about the Cátedra, please visit our webpage.
