Internships

All current Physics students and recent graduates can apply for relevant paid work experience through the Faculty of Science and Technology Internship Programme.

Our students can offer businesses an excellent opportunity to address a short-term skill or resource shortage. Businesses use internships to help cover during busy periods, trial new roles, research new ideas or as part of their recruitment process.

In addition to their subject-specific knowledge, physics students have excellent skills:

  • Problem-solving
  • Analysis and critical reflection
  • Oral and written communications
  • Practical, and "hands-on"

All of our students are keen to learn and improve their employability through real-world experience and businesses can post vacancies and access students through the Faculty of Science and Technology Internship Programme.
