About Anna

Hi, I'm Anna, a first-year student in Furness College.

I study Ecology and Conservation because I love all things nature and want to help solve climate change.

You'll often find me in the Lake District hiking on the weekend - it's one of the best perks of living in Lancaster with the Lake District so close. The fresh air and outdoors are what give me energy to do my uni work!

When I'm not studying or hiking, I'm a massive nerd and love books (particularly Sapphic books), animation and Dungeons and Dragons.

I love creating content from written to video - I have a TikTok where I'm basically just a massive nerd.

I've also started writing for SCAN and developing my own show for Bailrigg FM.

I'm interested in journalism, communication, and media and particularly science and environmental journalism. I think awareness and education on environmental issues is a very powerful tool for change.
