The Pentland Centre has a keen interest in the Circular Economy, a key research focus for Dr. Alison Stowell and Marta Ferri. We're delighted to pass on the news that WBCSD and Manufacture 2030 are partnering to deliver 3 webinars discussing the role of design, purchasing and manufacturing in developing a circular economy.

The seminars will help you:

  • Learn about the importance of design, procurement and manufacturing when embedding circular approaches within your business;
  • Explore the various circular practices that you can implement;
  • Find out what kinds of results other companies have seen after implementing circular approaches.

The webinars will be delivered by Brendan Edgerton, the Circular Economy Manager at WBCSD. He has worked at the Climate Bonds Initiative, Walt Disney Imagineering and Office Depot. His sustainable development career spans green building, life cycle assessment, entrepreneurship and the circular economy. He has an MBA from the Yale School of Management, a Master's in Environmental Management and a BA in Ecological Design.
