The role of the IP and Commercialisation Team is here to support staff and students to identify, protect and commercially exploit Intellectual Property arising from research.

In alignment with Lancaster University Strategic Plan, the new Intellectual Property policy has been developed to encourage and facilitate the dissemination of research and the exploitation of knowledge. The new IP policy can be viewed here.(The IP Policy came into effect on 1st August 2019)
