Our speakers

Joining us to share their unique insight will be two speakers from UCAS.

Sam Sykes

Sam Sykes, Customer Success Manager, UCAS (Birmingham event)

Sam has worked in Operations at UCAS for 8 years, she leads a team designing and delivering resources for both digital and face-to-face learning across our customer groups. This includes support for those advising applicants through the admissions process such as teachers and careers advisers and providing sessions on the applications process, including outreach an recruitment staff working in higher education institutions.

Sam is one of our UCAS experts in the customer journey and a regular host for many of the UCAS broadcast streams, from Facebook to Hub lives. She is a qualified teacher and prior to joining UCAS worked in secondary education as both a classroom teacher and Head of Department.

Ross Sanger

Ross Sanger, Digital Learning Developer, UCAS (London event)

Ross has over 12 years’ experience within the UCAS Customer Experience Centre, this insight gives him a great perspective on the admissions process. He has extensive experience of designing and delivering training on key issues that impact on progression to higher education, including professional development sessions for those advising applicants, and sessions to parents and young people on the UCAS process and making the transition to higher education.
