Students in the Library in front of the Green Wall

Congratulations! You’ve got your Clearing place to come and study with us at Lancaster University in 2023. We’re looking forward to welcoming you to the University.

Here are a few things you need to do.

Clearing offer holder events

Once you receive an offer through Clearing, you’ll be invited to one of our exclusive Clearing offer holder events. These occur both in person and online, allowing you to discover our campus and learn more about your course. You’ll receive details of this and other helpful information once you’ve been made an offer, so keep an eye on your emails!

Student funding and fees

If you are eligible for UK funding, there are some things you will need to do now to make sure your student loans (tuition and maintenance) are paid on time.

Our welcome site has more information on how to pay your fees and stay safe from 'phishing' attacks and scams.

It is important that you update your account with Student Finance England to avoid any delay in payment of your loans. For more information please refer to the UK government's student finance website.

Disability Services

Adjusting to being away from home for the first time can be challenging for students, particularly if you have additional needs. We offer a range of support to help you develop your independent learning skills and feel confident and comfortable. Please visit our Disability Services pages to find out what you need to do now, or email us at disability@lancaster.ac.uk.
