ECOShop

Moving in?

No need to buy everything before arriving at University. Why not make the journey to campus a little lighter and buy kitchen ware and other household items when you arrive!

Visit the ECOShop

The ECOShop is located in the Green Lancaster Marquee in Alexandra Square, and will be open from 10am to 4pm, Saturday 30 September to Friday 6 October.

Visit the EcoShop during Welcome Week, for pre-loved household items on a pay as you feel basis. A portion of donations to our summer move-out Don't Ditch It project is saved for our start of the year sale. All items are good quality, hand-picked by our Don’t Ditch It team. By using the EcoShop, you're contributing to creating a sustainable circular economy at the University, where one student's items are reused by others the following year.

Upcycled kitchen and bedding ECOPacks

Buying an upcycled ECOPack helps to reduce waste and carbon emissions and contributes to creating a circular economy. All items have been donated on campus to Green Lancaster via the Don't Ditch It, Donate It project.

Click the link to find out more about the work that's going on to reduce waste on campus and promote a circular economy. The Don't Ditch It Project promotes the concept of Circular Economy by providing collection points across campus for students and staff to donate unwanted household items that are then donated to charities or sold at the ECOShop.
