Keynote listening

Someone is turning over the middle of three blocks, so the word spelled is either listen or learn.

It is often the case that seminars and workshop have ‘keynote speakers’ to provide inspiration and insight for participants.

The Centre also offers a ‘keynote listener’ service which turns this on its head with good effects. The Keynote listener attends a meeting, seminar or workshop with the remit to listen to what is spoken about and to converse with meeting participants to find out what their thoughts are on the meeting subject.

During the meeting and/or at the close of the meeting the keynote listener brings together a summary of what themes were spoken about in the formal and informal sessions. While everyone listens at a meeting, having a person dedicated to this task increases the quality of reflection.
